Jean was known by everyone to be an avid doll collector, maker, repair dolls and giving lessons for porcelain dolls and ceramic. She belonged to several doll clubs over the years, but we remember the Doll Dreamers Doll Club the most. Jean continued her affection for dolls in some of her jobs over the years. She made composition bodies for Dick. She used her other skills at Mill Outlet and she owned The Doll Hut. Other jobs she had were a teller at a bank in Fountain, CO, Mill Outlet and Hanover school bus driver and Lana sue (her cousin) for education in Security, CO.
However, there are some additional things that most people do not know about Jean. She was a 4H member and the highlight of her 4H career was her cooking project; she earned a trip to Chicago for her rolls. There were several other contributions that she made as a volunteer in 4H and other organizations. She was a wrestling coach at Hanover School, election judge, 4H leader where she helped 4Hers and her kids with projects, record books and national report forms.
