Allen Whisman

Allen J. Whisman of Burlington, CO, 59, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at the Kit Carson County Memorial Hospital in Burlington. He was born in Jackson, MI on June 27, 1951 to Worley and Alice Heckaman Whisman. Al graduated in 1969 from Columbia Central High School. He was a prior member of Eagles in Brooklyn, MI. Al relocated to Burlington, CO where he worked and retired from Century Link. Al enjoyed riding motorcycles, and he was an avid hunter. He is preceded in death by his father, and brother Gary Whisman. Al is survived by his mother; brother Cliff, sister Deb; former wife Melissa Whisman Hevel; two sons and their families: Rusty (Brandy) Whisman of Horton, MI, and Randy (Heather) Whisman of Jackson, MI; and eight grandchildren.
