Anna Mae Lancaster, 79, of Limon, Colorado passed away on April 4, 2014 in Hugo, Colorado. Anna Mae was born on March 28, 1935 in Genoa, Colorado to Cecil and Grace Edna (Henderson) Hawkins one of eight children. She married Robert Lancaster and they made their home in Limon, Colorado. Anna Mae was a hard worker as she spent her working years as a waitress at different cafe's throughout the area. Anna Mae enjoyed doing crafts working with yarn making many items that she sold or gave away. She spent many hours doing crafts until her eye sight began to fail. She moved into Carla’s Cluster Care five years ago and enjoyed her time there and the people that cared for her became like family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and three brothers. Anna Mae is survived by her son, Calvin Tempe of Aurora, Colorado and two sisters; Willa Taylor of Aurora, Colorado and Ida Gieger of Canon City, Colorado. Anna Mae is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. It was Anna Mae’s wishes to be cremated and buried with her husband, Robert Lancaster in the Pershing Memorial Cemetery in Limon, Colorado. There will be no public services.
