Barbara Mueller

Barbara Marie (Poss) Mueller, 64, of Aurora, CO passed away on December 31, 2007. Barbara was born on February 09, 1943 to Florean and Loretta (Landwehr) Poss in Hugo, CO one of ten children. She grew up in the Hugo community and attended Hugo Public School graduating in 1962. Barbara married Charles Michael Mueller on February 24, 1968 in Ogallala, NE. The couple was blessed with two children; Marla and Chuck. Barbara was a homemaker. She was a gourmet chef and loved cooking for her family. She loved to grow her own food, and had quite an extensive garden. Barbara loved to decorate her home and make it a haven for her family and friends. She loved to study the environment, believed in naturalpathic medicine, and enjoyed evaluating different investment strategies. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Margie. Barbara is survived by her husband Mike of Aurora, CO and their children; Charles Mueller of Seattle, WA and fiancé Molly Olson and Marla Mueller of Thornton, CO. She is also survived by her siblings; Bill and Carolyn Poss of Hugo, CO, Dean and Merri Jo Poss of Cedar, MN, Rich Poss Ft. Frances, ON, Jim and Marilyn Poss of Noblesville, IN, Judy and Tom Klement of Eriksdale, MB, Charlene and Greg Hinman of Webb City, MO, Mary and Bud Andrews of Limon, CO, Terry and Roger Korsvold of Castle Rock, CO, mother-in-law Ardes Mueller of Ogallala, NE and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, January 05, 2008, 3:00 P.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hugo, CO with Father George Fagan officiating. Visitation was held on Friday, January 04, 2008, from 6-8 P.M. with Rosary being said at 7:00 P.M. at the Love Funeral Home in Limon, CO. Barbara’s wish was that a tree or plant be planted in her name or memorials may be made in Barbara’s name to The Arbor Day Foundation 100 Arbor Avenue, Nebraska City, NE 68410.
