Barbara Simpson

Barbara E. Simpson of Limon, Colorado passed away on February 23, 2006 at the age of 93 years at Carla’s Cluster Care in Limon. Barbara was born to Sumner M. and May L. (Mahland) Roades on July 25, 1912 in Chester, Vermont one of three children. She graduated from Chester, Vermont in 1921. Barbara married Guy D. Simpson in the summer of 1942 in Chicago, Ill. to this union four children were born. She enjoyed her family very much which included her grandchildren. Barbara was a member of Eastern Star for 60 years and enjoyed playing the piano. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters; Tusha and Rita. She is survived by her three sons; Dean (Patty) Simpson of Limon, CO, Dale (Michelle) Simpson of Peyton, CO, and Wes (Marilyn) DuBrisk of Greensville, TN, one daughter; Marilyn (George) Ferber of Birmingham, MI, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Barbara will be missed by all her friends at Carla’s Cluster Care in Limon, CO. A Memorial Service for Barbara will be held at Carla’s Cluster Care on Sunday, March 5, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Frank Hoover officiating. Memorials are suggested to Carla’s Cluster Care P.O.
