Beth Clark

Beth was born in the Forder Community of Southern Lincoln County, March 8, 1924, to Claude C. Logan and Grace A Lamson, third of 8 children. She spent her younger years at the family homestead helping care for her younger siblings. Beth attended the Forder school and loved to read. She attended Hugo Union High school, graduating in 1942. Shortly after graduation, on June 1, 1942, she married the love of her life; Alfred J. Clark. To this union 4 children were born; Shirley Elizabeth, Joseph Clifford June Marie and Richard Alan (Rick). Beth was preceded in death by her parents Claude C. and Grace A Logan and, Loving husband Alfred, Son Rick, Great Granddaughter Kalline Marie Naso, Brothers Charles and Earl and Sister Ethel. Those surviving Beth are her three children Shirley (Jim) Weiand of Cheyenne Wells, CO, Joe (Diane) Clark of Hugo, CO and June (David) Hamm of Ridgecrest, CA. Also surviving are Beth’s four brothers Dale, Jim, Glen and Harry Logan, one sister in-law Mildred LaBorde, ten grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren and many nieces nephews and friends.
