Billy D. Wolfe, 89 of Loveland, Colorado, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2020.
Billy was born November 4, 1931 in Nelson, Nebraska to Marvin Wolfe, and Gladys Chapman (Wolfe). He married Violet Welsh in Weskan, Kansas on June 11, 1950. To this union three children were born; Pamela, James, and Kevin.
Billy served in the US Army, then upon his return he worked for the Denver Police Department as Lieutenant for 30+ years. He loved being a police officer. After retirement Billy and Violet moved from Lakewood, Colorado to Loveland, Colorado. Billy enjoyed gardening, his yard was a masterpiece, with hundreds of roses, trees, and numerous other plants, the neighbors were always in envy of his yard. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting. He enjoyed taking his family on vacations, and enjoyed spending time with them.
Billy is survived by his children, Pam (Jim) Achziger of Fort Morgan, CO, Jim Wolfe of Loveland, CO, Kevin (Lyn) Wolfe of Byers, CO, his sisters Janet Crotinger, and Marcene (Lindon) Welle, a brother Jerry (Pat) Wolfe , also survived by six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren and numerous Nieces and nephews Billy is preceded in death by his wife Violet, his parents Marvin and Gladys Wolfe, sister Lois Slaven and a brother Phil Wolfe.
