Dennis Earl Church

Dennis E. Church, 77, entered into eternal rest on February 9, 2023. He was born on January 7, 1946, in Bisbee, North Dakota, the son of Gordon E. Church and Tilda Cordella Krokan. Dennis graduated from Bisbee High School, Class of 1964. After graduation he served in the U.S. Army before being honorably discharged on April 13th, 1972. He was a ramp agent for United Airlines for 17 years before becoming an entrepreneur and land developer. Dennis married Eileen Haug of Kimball, NE on March 8, 1969, and they had three children together. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Audrey, and brothers Lee Church and Clinton Church. Dennis is survived by his children Teresa Adams (Jeff), Travis Church (Jodi Ellis Church) and Ty Church (Skotti Phillips Church); grandchildren Emilie Adams (Dillon Elnicki), Tanner Adams, Coulter Church (Alya Garrison-Ahmed), Chloe Church, and Caden Church; and great-grandchildren Kole and Kase Elnicki. He is also survived by his brothers James Church and Terry Church. Dennis’ family will have a Service of Remembrance at the Bennett Cemetery, and a Celebration of Life will be held this summer for all his family and friends.
