Donald Misner, Sr

Donald William Misner was born on July 26, 1934 to William and Rilla Misner at home, 7 miles southwest of Cope, Colorado. He was the 5th of 6 children. He departed this life on November 9th, 2011 at the age of 77. He met the love of his life, Anna Belle Hansen, and they were married on September 12, 1951. They had just celebrated their 60th anniversary. To this union, 4 children were born. He was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, father and two brothers. He is survived by his wife Anna, his children, Donna and husband Don Newberry of Burlington, CO, Diane and husband Mark Helpingstine of Holcomb, KS, Donald Jr. and wife Debra of Kirk, CO and Douglas and wife Sheri of Joes, CO, two sisters, Opal and husband Gene Thorson of Strasburg, CO, Arvene Thorson of Pueblo, and one brother, Cleo and wife Nora Misner of Norman, OK. Don had three passions in his life; first and foremost, his family, raising cattle and building fence.
