Edward Grinnan

November 28, 1955 — January 23, 2007

Edward Erwin Grinnan was born a twin with John Campion Grinnan on November 28, 1955 in Abilene, Texas. He died in Farmington, New Mexico at his home on January 23, 2007 after a long battle with cancer. He was the son of the late Joseph Patrick and Ann Erwin Grinnan. Erwin was a life long member of the Traditional Roman Catholic Church. He grew up in Durango, Colorado and graduated from Durango High School. In 1983, he moved to Farmington, New Mexico and he and his brother, Camp, started “The Movie Factory�. Also he owned and operated Roll Your Own Ammo. At the time of his death, he was employed at Advantage Dodge in Farmington. Erwin was an avid gun enthusiast and an expert on firearms and reloading. Proceeding Erwin in death were his father and his brother-in-law Patrick Hornung. Left to cherish his memory, his love and his generosity are his Mother, his brothers and his sisters; Campion Grinnan and wife Paula of Farmington, NM, Joseph Patrick Grinnan, Jr. of Goulsboro, Maine, George Grinnan and wife Erin of Montrose, Colorado, William Grinnan and wife Cathy of Redlands, California, Michael Grinnan and wife Gina of Burlington, Colorado, Margaret Hornung of Arapahoe, Colorado, Daniel Grinnan and wife Katy of Burlington, Colorado, and Ann Goodnow and husband of Burlington, Colorado. He is also survived by 49 nieces and nephews and one great nephew. The Rosary will be held on Friday, January 26, 2007 at 7:00 PM. A Requiem High Mass will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2007, Burlington, Colorado at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 228 11th Street, Burlington, Colorado 80807 at 10:00 AM with Most Reverend Mark A. Pivarunas and Reverend Julian Gilchrist. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Stratton, Colorado. Memorials may be made in Erwin’s name in lieu of flowers to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and may be left at the First National Bank, Burlington, Colorado.
