Elwin Boody

Burlington, Colorado resident Elwin M. Boody passed away July 22, 2012 at the Grace Manor Care Center in Burlington. He was 70 years old. Elwin was born October 21, 1941 in Pueblo Colorado to Wilmer and Ruth (Hamilton) Boody. He attended Canon City High School where he graduated and went on to Southern Colorado University where he earned a BS degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. Elwin moved to Burlington on 2000 with his wife Loretta. Elwin worked with the SBDC as a Small Business Consultant helping businesses achieve financing. Elwin had an incredible work ethic and a determination unlike no other. Elwin is survived by his loving and caring wife Loretta; his four daughters Ruth and Greg Holman, Karen and Mark Vivoda, Kristine Kimmick, Kathy Hipsky; three step kids Mary Whaley, Don Whaley, Mike and Kim Whaley. Elwin has twelve grand children and two great grand children. He is also survived by his brother Dale Boody and his sister Helen Sawyer. Elwin is loved and will be missed. Rest in peace Pops.
