Cheyenne Wells resident Eusebia Mireles passed away peacefully on September
27, 2021 in Greeley Colorado under hospice care. She was 95 years old.
Eusebia was born to Fernando Moreno and Tomasita "Guerra" Moreno in Cotulla
Texas January 15, 1926. Eusebia was the youngest of three children. Eusebia's
mother, Tomasita, passed away when Eusebia was an infant. She was raised by
her aunt and uncle Charlotta and Enasio Moreno. She was treated as a daughter
and her cousins gained a new sister. She loved to cook and sew at an early age,
never strayed from hard work. Some of her favorite past times were baseball
and playing jacks.
On August 19, 1944 she married Reyes P. Mireles and to this union many children
were born. Her legacy includes numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren,
great-great grandchildren.
Eusebia was a quiet, strong willed, private, wonderful lady. Her catholic faith was
very important to her, more importantly she loved her family. Her door was
always open to family and friends. She loved to cook for anyone who stopped by
for a visit. "No one ever left feeling hungry from momma's house."
She lived a full life and will be missed deeply by family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father Fernando, her mother Tomasita, two
siblings, Connie and Arthur and cousins she grew up with. Her husband Reyes P.
Mireles, her son's Cecil, Martin, Reyes Jr. l, Reyes Jr. ll. Grandchildren: James,
Julie and Jaden.
