Ezequiel Torres

Ezequiel Torrez, 89, of Burlington Colorado passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2014. He was born in La Cuestita Michoacán, Mexico on July 20, 1925. He was born to Ezequiel Torres and Maria Herlinda Cervantes. He leaves a legacy of hard work, humility, respect and unwavering faith. He married his childhood sweetheart, Juanita, at the age of 17 and they recently celebrated their 71st anniversary. Ezequiel is survived by his wife Juanita Torres and 8 children: Maria Martinez and husband Lupe, of Denver, Colorado; Alfonso Torrez and wife Nancy, of Elgin, Illinois; Virginia Burciaga and husband Servando, of Burlington, Colorado; Billy Torrez and wife Mary, of Mason, Texas; Estella Gonzalez and husband Daniel, of Freeport, Texas; Ezequiel “Zeke” Torrez and wife Simona, of Loveland, Colorado; Rosie Garcia and husband Robert, of Mason, Texas; and Dora Tovar and husband Joe, of Idalia, Colorado, 29 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.
