Gary Corbin

Gary Lynn Corbin, 46 of Limon, Colorado passed away on September 27, 2014 in Hugo, Colorado. Gary was born September 30, 1967 in Paris, Texas to Richard B. and Gail A. (Scott) Corbin, Jr. one of three children born to this union. He grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada attending school at Cannon Jr. High and graduating from Valley High School, where he lettered in both baseball and football in 1985. He also attended Trinidad Junior College, University of Nevada at Reno and eventually graduated with a B.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. He met and married Doris Duran of Trinidad, Colorado in Las Vegas on July 20, 1989 and the couple have two children. Gary worked for the Department of Corrections as a Correction Officer bringing them to Limon, Colorado. Gary enjoyed watching the Colorado Rockies and the Dallas Cowboys, and most importantly, his kids playing their various sports and he loved cooking for them. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard B. Corbin jr., in laws Doroteo and Lilly Duran and his grandparents, aunts and uncles. Gary is survived by his wife, Doris Corbin of Limon, Colorado, his son, Brett M. and his wife Nina Corbin of Hugo, Colorado and daughter, Kaitlynn S. Corbin of Limon, Colorado. He is also survived by his mother, Gail A. Corbin (John Bolles) of Las Vegas, brothers; Vincent B. Corbin of Naperville, IL, and Douglas W. Corbin of Las Vegas, Nevada, sister-in-law Carolyn (Jeff) Jewell, Henri (David) Beaudoin, brother-in-law Fred (Luanna) Duran along with nieces and nephews; Zach (Rachel) Duran, Dallas, Julia and Maverick Duran, Kevin Jewell and Lindsay Lyons, Christine, Crystal and Connolly Corbin. Also surviving; two grandchildren, Lestat Butler and Ninan Riemenschneider.
