Glenis "Jenean" Schuler

Glenis Jenean Schuler, 72, of Yoder, Colorado passed away at home with her loving family at her side. Jenean was born October 21, 1941 in Kinsley, Kansas to Glen J. and Nell LaNore (Ficken) Stum. She was one of three children . She attended and graduated from Ness City, Kansas and then went on to Hayes State University in Kansas where she received her BA, then received her Masters in Library Science at Adams State. Jenean married David Eugene Schuler on January 29, 1960 in Ness City, Kansas. The couple was blessed with one daughter Tamara LaNell. She loved her husband and daughter but the one who stole her heart was her grandson, Jacob Myers. Jenean enjoyed her 36+ years as a librarian, crafts, reading, horses, playing cards, bird watching, story telling, auctions and taking pictures. Jenean was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Nell LaNore Stum . She is survived by her husband Dave Schuler of Yoder, CO and daughter Tamara Myers (John Vest) of Colorado Springs, CO, along with her grandson, Jacob David Myers, step granddaughter, Jayden Jaye-lynn Vest and a grandbaby on the way. Jenean is also survived by her brothers; Linly Stum (Sherrell ) and Marlin Stum (Sandra) both of Towner, CO and many nieces and nephews.
