Helen Schabinger

Helen F. Schabinger, 88, of Burlington, Colorado died Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at the Kit Carson County Memorial Hospital. Helen was born July 29, 1918 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Stanley and Sofia (Sekura) Kielbasa. She was a hairdresser for the last few years. Helen has been a resident of Burlington for the past 35 years. She was a member of the St. Katherine’s Catholic Church. Helen married Peter Schabinger on September 28, 1940 and they had one son, Peter Schabinger Jr. of San Francisco, California. A vigil service was held Thursday, March 15, 2007 at the Love Funeral Home in Burlington, Colorado. Norbert Ohnmacht was the Officiant. Visitation was held Saturday, March 17, 2007 at the Ridge Funeral Home in Chicago, Illinois. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 17, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the St. Daniel the Prophet Catholic Church in Chicago, Illinois. Burial followed at the Resurrection Cemetery in Chicago.
