Hulda Deeds

Hulda Irene Deeds passed away on October 28, 2015 in Hugo, Colorado. She was born May 4, 1921 in Helvey, Nebraska to William and Ida (Birkholz) Zuehlsdorf. On November 1, 1938 she was united in marriage to Ora Deeds in Hugo, Colorado. They spent their life together on the Eastern Plains where they raised their two children, Maxine Elaine and Lavern. Hulda spent her days tending to the children and making their house a home. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and needle work. She loved working in her garden from planting to being able to harvest and canning the fruits of her labor. She enjoyed listening to country music and could be found dancing to the melody. Hulda is preceded in death by her parents, William & Ida; her husband, Ora; daughter, Maxine Elaine; and son, Lavern. She is survived by her brother, Irvin Zuehlsdorf of California and by many nieces and nephews.
