James Borkosky

James "Jim" A. Borkosky, 71, of Wild Horse, Colorado passed away at his home on May 13, 2011. James was born on January 18, 1940 in Bluffton, Ohio to Ross and Dorothy (Davis) Borkosky he one of six children. In 1961 he married Jane Borkosky and to this union one son, James Robert, and two daughters, Janis and Julia, were born. After Jane passed away James met Alice and a relationship blossomed into marriage on November 24, 1990 in Kit Carson, Colorado. James loved being outside and working the land but it was never really work because he would rather be farming than anything else. James was preceded in death by his father, Ross; first wife, Jane; and sister, Jane Francis. He is survived by his wife, Alice Borkosky of Wild Horse, Colorado; mother, Dorothy Borkosky of Arlington, Ohio; son, James Robert (Chris) Borkosky of Ohio; daughters, Janis (Robert) Griffin of Ohio, Julia Borkosky of Ohio; step sons, Olin (Christie) Johnson of Kit Carson, Colorado, Richard (Sammie) Johnson of Kit Carson, Colorado; step daughters; Cindy (Steve) Erker of Colorado, Shirley Johnson of Colorado, and Anita (Michael) Kuhlman of Kansas. He is also survived by his brothers, Don (Jean) Borkosky of Ohio, Fred (Jane) Borkosky of Ohio, Frank (Sue) Borkosky of Ohio, Dennis (Lisa) Borkosky of Ohio; 4 grandchildren, 18 step grandchildren and 5 great-step grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
