January 3, 1961 — December 20, 2001

James B. Scott was born on January 3rd, 1961 in Colorado. Unfortunately, he passed away on December 20th, 2001 in Arapahoe County. He left behind a loving family and many friends who held him dear to their hearts. His sister, Marcella Gregg, was not only his sibling but also his closest confidant. In his childhood, James cherished his maternal grandmother, Edith Carstens, and held fond memories of her. He spent several years working as a trucker throughout Colorado. James was known as an affectionate man who had an unwavering love for his family. During his youth, he developed a passion for motorcycles and enjoyed the breathtaking views of the Colorado mountains.

He was preceded by several family members: his sister Marcella Gregg, mother Martha Joyce Scott Carstens, niece Amy Scott, nephews Micheal Gregg, Lucas Alley, and James Scott, aunt Mary Pickens, cousins Kevin Pickens and Steve Pickens, and aunts Carla Carstens and Susie Onat.

His ashes have been interred alongside his beloved mother and sister in Limon, CO. Additionally, he rests in eternal peace with his maternal grandparents, Edith and James G. Carstens, who both passed away in 1972 and 2001, respectively.
