Janice Young

Janice Ann (Bowker) Young, age 52, of Limon, Colorado passed away December 6, 2005. Janice was born August 8, 1953 to Klein and Lucille (Willy) Bowker in Burlington, Colorado one of twelve children. She grew up in the Simla area graduating from High School in 1971. Janice worked for the El Paso County Department of Social Services as an Income Maintenance Technician where she was a member of the Social Services Tech and Business Staff (SSTABS). Janice enjoyed watching football, listing to and dancing to live music, playing cards and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She was a green thumb and loved animals. Janice is preceded in death by her parents, and two nephews. Janice is survived by her daughter; Allison and her husband John Horn and their children Diana, Jessica and Ashley of Las Vegas, NV, siblings; Elsie Miller of Goodland, KS, Alta Mae (Lawrence) House of Goodland, KS, Jim (Sharon) Bowker of Goodland, KS, Sharon Kay (Ken) Stephens of Newton, KS, Carol (Ron) Tracy of Limon, CO, Nancy (Loren) Michel of Limon, CO, Phyllis Dering of Simla, CO, Bruce Bowker of Littleton, CO, Beverly Huddleston of Vona, CO, Jackie (Cipriano) Sandoval of Littleton, CO, and Bill Bowker of Simla, CO. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. A Memorial Service was held on Friday, December 9, 2005 at the Love Funeral Home Chapel in Limon, CO with Charles Hawker officiating.
