Joseph Wilson

Joseph Frank Wilson, 55, of Lakewood, CO passed away on January 17, 2007. Joseph was born on December 21, 1951 in Cheyenne Wells, CO to Donald and Elizabeth (Schuette) Wilson, one of three boys. Following the death of his father Elisabeth moved with Joseph to Denver in 1960. There he was involved in a program for the developmentally handicapped at Laradon. While there Joe worked as a janitor for Taco Bell. Everyone who knew Joe fell in love with him and his zest for life was contagious. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Joseph is survived by his brothers; Wayne (Ramona) Wilson of Campbell, CA and Ed (Florence) Wilson of Hemet, CA, one niece, Ginny and three nephews; Dan, Ted and Kevin Wilson. Joe will be missed by his family and the many friends he made over the years. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, January 22, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cheyenne Wells, CO with Father James Ponce officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Cheyenne Wells, CO. Memorials may be made to Laradon 5100 Lincoln Street, Denver, CO 80216.
