Larry E. Hollingsworth of Colorado Springs, CO passed away on July 23, 2007 at Terrace Garden Healthcare Center, Colorado Springs, CO at the age of 62.
Larry was born on September 18, 1944 in Ft. Gibson, MS to T.E. and Velma (Humphrey) Hollingsworth.
Larry served in the National Guard for several years. He loved to hunt and fish being outdoorsman it would be commonplace for Larry to either be hunting or fishing every moment he had a chance to. Larry was a very giving and generous person as he enjoyed giving donuts and almonds to those he saw. He was a after he was honorably discharged from the Army, Larry was a crane operator for many years in addition to owning his own fishing boat where he would spend much of his time on the gulf of Mississippi.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Velma Hollingsworth.
Larry is survived by his son, Shaw Hollingsworth of Simla, Colorado and his sister, Rebecca (Steve) Quinlivan of Pointclear Alabama.
A graveside service for Larry was held on Monday, July 30, 2007, 2:00 P.M. at the Simla Cemetery in Simla, CO with Pastor Chad Thieman officiating
