Send Flowers Larry L. Taylor September 24, 1927 - August 25, 2016 Lawrence L. Taylor left us on August 25, 2016. Larry was born in Ruleton, KS on September 24, 1927, He was the 3rd oldest of 13 children born to Charles and Bertha Taylor. He was raised in Kansas and moved to Seibert, Colorado as a young child. In January of 1953 he married Esther Bramlett in Seibert. The first few years of their marriage were spent in Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota and Oklahoma and settling down in Colorado. He was busy with raising five children, farming and ranching. He did a lot of leather working, woodworking and taking care of his animals. He enjoyed working with his horses, gardening, reading, traveling in their camper and watching old western movies. He served in the U.S. Army in Alaska, and always wanted to go back. He told many stories of the depression, the dustbowl, mountain ranching with his brothers and many adventures with his brothers and sisters. Larry is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Esther, son David, daughter-in-law Betsy, mother Bertha, father Charlie Taylor, brothers - Dale, Jim, Don, sister-in-laws and numerous friends. Larry is survived by: Daughters Carmel (Jerry) of Johnstown, Colorado, Christal (Steve) of Flagler. Sons: Mark of Hanover, Colorado, Myron (Tanya)of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Oliver (Angela) of Hanover, Colorado. Brothers: Marvin of Sheridan, Wyoming, Bob (Charlotte) of Ohio, Floyd (Sharon) of Laramie, Wyoming, Buck of Grand Junction, Colorado, Tom (Jean) of Callao, Missouri and Dick (Angie) of Colbran, Colorado. Sisters: Alice of Garden City, Kansas, Ethel (Charles) of Ramah, Colorado and Betty Jean (Roy) of Winchester, Virginia. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Larry was a kind and loving husband, dad, uncle, grandpa, brother, brother-in-law with many lifelong friendships. A Very, Very Special Thank You from all of us goes to Aunt Ruth for all the love, caring and companionship you gave dad for the last three years.
