Lois Stelter

Lois M. Stelter, 71 passed away August 15, 2006 at the Good Samaritan Care Center in Simla, CO. Lois was born July 5, 1935 in Pearson, Wisconsin to Walter and Viola (Smith) Rook one of three children. Lois attended school through the 8th grade. Lois loved children especially her own four and all the grandchildren. In her earlier years she worked at Lowry Air Force Base and was very proud of the fact that she never called in sick and was always to work on time. Lois enjoyed her friends at the Good Samaritan Center and loved to play Bingo with who ever would play. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, one brother; Cliff Rook, and one great – grandson; Ernest Lawien. Lois is survived by her sons; Jerry and his wife Leona Lawien of Matheson, CO, Roger Lawien of Aurora, CO and George and wife Anita Stelter of Ordway, CO, and one daughter; Dianna Hess of Florida. She is also survived by two sisters of Wisconsin, one sister–in– law of Ordway, CO and one of Tucson, AZ, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren, and many friends. Lois will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A Memorial Service for Lois will be held Saturday, August 26, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the Community Church in Matheson, CO.
