Loretta J. Kahanic, 81, loving mother, passed away August 4, 2010 in Limon, Colorado.
Loretta was born June 3, 1929 in Denver, Colorado. Over the years Loretta was a devoted and active member of the Shrine of St. Therese, the Pueblo Police Womens Auxiliary, and was the office manager for several OBGYN doctors within the Pueblo area. She loved sewing, crafts, and adored her time with her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Joseph P. (Joe) Kahanic, in 2003 and her parents, GJ and Elizabeth Rogers.
She is survived by sons, Mike (Judy) Kahanic of Houston, Texas; Fank (Jaque) Kahanic of Danville, Kentucky; and Bob (Pam) Kahanic of Limon, Colorado. She is also survived by her sisters, Helen Stevenson of Dayton, Ohio; Dorothy Encheff of Denver, Colorado and her brother, Bill Rodgers of Wiggins, Colorado. She is survived by her grandchildren, Siobahn, Jason and Jeremy Kahanic, Shawn (Megan) Kaufman, Justin (Jenny) Kaufman, Stephanie (Alex) Ramirez, Christopher & Stacie Kaufman; her great grandchildren, Sydnee, Sophee & Sylar, Logan Kaufman, Alazara, Angellica, Alejandro, and Alejandra Ramirez.
