Margaret Thomason

Margaret Jeanette (Meade) Thomason began her journey in this life on December 9, 1931 in Kirk, Colorado and left this world on Sept. 30, 2008. She lived her life in Colorado and shared her youth with her siblings, Russell Meade (now deceased), Ben Meade (now deceased), Leona Meade (now deceased), James Meade (now deceased), Roberta Meade Poorman, Manny Meade, and Juanita Meade Morrow. She met her husband of 60 years, Vern Thomason, in Stratton, Colorado and they were married on February 5, 1948 in Stratton, Colorado They continued their journey in life together and through their love created six children: Karen Dinan, Patti Fochi, Lisa Thomason, David Thomason, James Thomason and John Thomason. While raising her children she instilled within them a love of learning, music and literature as well as a strong sense of ethics and values. Her legacy continues within the hearts and lives of thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. They read, dance and sing and will continue to celebrate her gift of love and life. A Mass Of Christian Burial for Margaret J. Thomason will be held Friday October 3, 2008 ~ 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady Of Victory Catholic Church Limon, CO Visitation will be held Thursday October 2, 2008 6 to 8 p.m. at Our Lady Of Victory Catholic Church in Limon, CO. with Rosary Being Said at 7:30p.m. Interment was held at the Arvada Cemetery in Arvada, Colorado at 3:00p.m. Friday October 3, 2008.
