Burlington, Colorado resident Marjorie Jean Jones passed away on October 5, 2010 at the Grace Manor Care Center in Burlington. She was 86 years old.
Marjorie was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on March 16, 1924 to Hugo and Eleanor Sill. She attended school in Goodland, Kansas and graduated from Goodland High School in 1941. After high school Marge attended Cottey College in Nevada, Missouri.
Marge married Ted Coons from Goodland, and to this union four children were born; Ben Coons and David Coons of Minnesota, Shelley Tindall of Billings, Montana and Kevin Coons of Tempe Arizona. The family made their homes in Denver, Colorado and Great Falls, Montana.
In 1974, Marge married Ben Jones of Burlington where they resided until her death.
Preceding her in death were her parents and sister Shirley Ann Bally of Wichita, Kansas.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Ben Jones of Burlington, her children; Ben and wife Marie, David and wife Janet, Shelley and husband Tom, and Kevin and wife Valerie. Also step-daughters Mary Lyn Crites and husband Cliff of Burlington and Nancy Rudzek and Robert Urias of Arvada, Colorado, grandchildren Ben Coons, Ken Coons and wife Trudie, Heather Holland and husband Chuck, Jeremy Tindall and wife Tasha, Kelly Rico and husband Tom, Jeff Crites and wife Tammy, and Dan Rudzek, 18 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
