Marjorie Thruston

View Video Tribute Marjorie D. Thruston, 81 of Hugo, CO passed away on April 23, 2008. Marjorie was born to Sanford Daniel and Levi Ione (Culver) on April 20, 1927 in Hugo, CO one of nine children. Marj grew up in Hugo graduating high school in 1945. Marj met and married Harold Thruston on August 16, 1945 in Colby, KS and to this union three children were born. Marj was a life long resident of Hugo working as the Lincoln County Driver Examiner for 10 years. She was a member of the Hugo United Methodist Church, a past board member of Peoples Clinic in Hugo. Marj enjoyed playing cards with friends, loved any type of games, spending time with family and friends. Marj was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold, one daughter Sherry, two brothers and five sisters. Marj is survived by her son Randy and his wife Linda Thruston of Gering, NE and her daughter Sheila Thruston of Ordway, CO. She is also survived by two grandchildren; Lisa Thruston of Sioux Falls, SD and Julie and her husband Bruce Hoyer of Sioux Falls, SD and one sister Norma Crosson of LaJunta, CO, nieces, nephews and numerous friends. A Memorial Service for Marj will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at the United Methodist Church in Hugo, CO.
