Mary Emmerling-Overland

Mary Emmerling-Overland passed away on May 18, 2010 in Colorado Springs, CO. Mary Overland was born on January 6, 1914 to Hugo Sr. and Leopoldine Emmerling in Pierce, NE. She had seven brothers and one sister. Mary married Ernest Overland in 1966. She was a dedicated employee at the National Biscuit Company for 32 years. Mary loved sewing and crocheting and made numerous afghans for her family. She sewed her own clothing and enjoyed tailoring for her friends and family as well. Mary is preceded in death by her parents; Hugo Sr. & Leopoldine, her husband; Ernest, her sister; Hilda Walker, her brothers; John (Johnny) Emmerling, Gallus (Peg) Emmerling, Aloysius (Blackie) Emmerling, Frank (Frankie) Emmerling, Alphons (Funny) Emmerling, Nicholas (Sam) Emmerling and Hugo Jr. (Swede) Emmerling. Mary is survived by nineteen nieces and nephews.
