Matthew Ewing

View Video Tribute Matthew Eugene Ewing, 28, of Genoa, CO passed away on April 15, 2007. Matthew was born on January 12, 1979 in Denver, CO to Wayne and Linda (Williams) Ewing one of four children. Matthew attended Genoa-Hugo School through his junior year then took the GED test in 1996. Matthew was a member of the Genoa United Methodist Church. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, leatherwork, sewing and cooking. Matthew loved ranching and doing the work of a cowboy along side his beloved dogs and horses. Matthew was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Chris Montoya. Matthew is survived by his parents, Wayne and Linda Ewing of Genoa, CO, maternal grandparents, Chas and Judy Williams of Denver, CO, paternal grandparents, Glen and Betty Ewing of Genoa, CO, brothers; Charlie Ewing of Pueblo, CO, Luke and his wife Renee Ewing of Genoa, CO, sister Angela Montoya of Denver, CO, four nieces and nephews; Christopher, Brandon, Alyssah and Haley, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. A Memorial Service will be held for Matthew on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at the Genoa United Methodist Church at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend’s Frank and Linda Hoover officiating.
