Myrna Purviance

Myrna Rae (McBride) Purviance departed this life in her home on March 19, 2011, at the age of 51 years. She was surrounded by her family. Myrna was born August 12, 1959, in Burlington, CO, to Dale F. & Gladys E. McBride. She was the second of five daughters. She graduated from Burlington High School in 1977. After a year at NWKAVTS, she fulfilled her life long dream of becoming a cosmetologist. It never seemed like a ‘job’ to her because she enjoyed her customers. Myrna loved their stories, their loyalty, & cherished their lasting friendships. It truly meant the world to her. On June 14, 2003, Myrna & John Purviance were united in marriage along with their children - Morgan, Dustin, Matt, Chelsea, & Martie. Myrna was a dedicated mother, wife, & sister. Anyone who knew her admired her strength. She was preceded in death by her parents, one niece (Megan Ann Weltz), & mother-in-law (Sharon Purviance). Myrna is survived by her husband, John, sons Matt & Dustin, daughters Morgan, Martie, & Chelsea, sisters Mona (Steve Weltz), Mickie (Tracy Tillman), Marla (Andy Siruta), Marsha (Mark Patterson), many other family members & friends.
