Nancy L. Kellogg, loving mother and wife, passed away peacefully at home on the evening of September 14, 2022, after her courageous battle with cancer. Nancy was born December 9, 1949, in Gilcrest, Colorado to her parents Clyde, a mill operator and Alice Adams, a stay-at-home mother. She was a graduate of Valley High School and raised her two children, DeeDee and Travis with the help of family.
On July 1, 1989, she married Jack Kellogg and moved to Strasburg, Colorado shortly after. For 21 years Nancy worked at First National/Guarantee Bank, showing her knack for helping others and creating lifelong friendships.
Sharing a passion for travel, Jack and Nancy explored every state, except Hawaii in the U.S with the Alaskan cruise being one of their fondest.
Shortly after retiring from the bank, she did charity work for Visiting Angles, where she cared for others with compassion. Skip-Bo was a favorite card game she liked to play with them.
Nancy had an uncanny ability to spread happiness and joy to everyone she came in contact with. Her radiant smile could warm any heart. She had an unwavering love for Jesus. And she truly enjoyed creatively preserving her personal and family history (scrapbooking) with her friends.
She is survived by her husband Jack, her children DeeDee (Jason) and Travis (Cat), stepchildren David, Debbie (Shawn) and Alan, granddaughter Sawyer, step grandchildren Dylan and Cody and great step grandchildren Isabel, Alayna and Olivia. She is also survived by her siblings Beverly, Zoe, Tim, Bonnie, Debbie and Dee as well as stepsisters Liz and Mary. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service will be held on September 24, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Mountain View Church, 1955 Headlight Road in Strasburg, Colorado.
