Newton W. Littleton Jr.

Newton (Bill) William Littleton JR, 81, of Hugo, Colorado, passed away on January 26, 2021 in Hugo. Graveside services will be held February 9, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Evergreen Cemetery in Hugo with Pastor Bill Weisener officiating. Bill was born in California to Newton and Alice Littleton on May 17, 1939. Bill married Virginia Sage on October 12, 1957. Bill worked for Armco as a maintenance specialist until his retirement in 1989. Bill and Virginia moved to Hugo, Colorado in 1993. Bill became very active in his local church, and became a deacon and ordained minister. Virginia passed away in January 2000. Bill met Rose Fager and married her on August 20, 2004. Rose passed away in May 2016. Bill is survived by his brother John Littleton; children Bonnie Sue Nelson (Robert), Laurie Ann Littleton, and Newton William Littleton III (Amy); grandchildren Fred Martin, Mark Ferguson, Lois Mattson (Derik), Newton Littleton IV, Anastasia Reese, Beatrice Guy (Krys), and James Oliphant; great-grandchildren Alijah Mattson, Chase Mattson, Olivia Strong, Brylee Guy, and Lillie Guy. Bill also had several step-children and step-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Virginia Littleton, his second wife Rose Littleton, and his brother Robert Littleton.
