Olive Wilson

Olive Ellen Wilson, 97, formerly of Limon, Colorado passed away on July 6, 2012 at the Trinidad Inn Nursing Home in Trinidad, Colorado. Olive was born on July 24, 1914 in Matheson, Colorado to Marion and Sadie C. (Bolander) Ashcraft one of 13 children. Olive attended school through the 8th grade while helping her parents with many household duties. She married Glen Wilson on March 29, 1933 and the couple was blessed with two children. Olive assisted in Cub Scouts and other activities her children were involved in. She belonged to the Rebeka Lodge while in Limon, Colorado. Olive enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, canvas work and making afghans for family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Glenn Harold, seven brothers, five sisters and two sons; Irvin Grant and Darwin Duane Wilson. Olive is survived by her daughter-in-laws; Saundra (Terry) Moore of Lamar, MO and Linda Wilson of Trinidad, CO. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Genoa Wilson (Bruce) and children Glenn and Lewis Erickson, Donald Wilson and children Andrew and Diana Wilson and Darren Wilson (Dana) and children; Alexander, Meredith, Avalon and D.D.
