Paul Mcqueen

Paul Kenneth McQueen, of Calhan, CO passed away December 22, 2009 at his son’s residence outside of Calhan, CO. Paul was born February 27, 1941 to Harry and Martha (Skinner) McQueen in Colorado Springs, CO. Paul was one of 6 children; he had four brothers and one sister. He was raised on the family farm just outside of Calhan, CO. Paul graduated from Calhan High School. He spent time during the Vietnam War in the Merchant Marines. He was also a member of the Calhan Fire Department. Paul took pleasure in working on the farm where he was born and raised. He was blessed with three children, Kenneth, Paul and Debra. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and keeping up with their activities. Paul enjoyed following sports especially baseball. He loved operating heavy equipment and was blessed to be able to fulfill his passion through his job. Paul spent twenty years square dancing across the states from California to Colorado. He made numerous friends who will miss him dearly. Paul was preceded in death by his father and one grandchild. Paul is survived by his mother; Martha McQueen, children; Kenneth (Linda) McQueen of Calhan, CO, Paul McQueen of Calhan, CO, and Debra Regan of Colorado Springs, CO; twenty grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
