Paula H. Rodriguez

After spending valuable time with her family, Paula passed away peacefully at the Grace Manor Care Center in Burlington, Colorado surrounded by family on January 18, 2018. She was 83 years of age. Paula was born on January 19, 1934 to Frank and Simona (Rodriguez) Hernandez in Poteet, Texas. She was one of seven children. She married Nicolas S. Rodriguez on August 6, 1954 in Greeley, Colorado. Nicolas and Paula were blessed with ten children: Jane, Nick Jr., Simona, Mike, Antonia, Joe, Ed, Diane, Donna and Fred. Paula was a Homemaker who enjoyed playing Bingo and getting the occasional Lottery ticket. Dancing, and embroidery were also favorites of hers. She was a faith-filled Catholic and a parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena. Spending time with her children, grandchildren and family was very important to Paula. Paula taught her family to live by a very strong work ethic. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother whom all will miss deeply. Paula was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her children; Jane Rodriguez of Burlington, Colorado, Nick Rodriguez Jr. of Casper, Wyoming, Simona (Esequiel) Torrez of Loveland, Colorado, Mike (Luana Bravo) Rodriguez of Mira Loma, California, Antonia (Joseph) Vaeth of Denver, Colorado, Joe (Jackie) Rodriguez of Fruita, Colorado, Ed Rodriguez of Ontario, California, Diane (Juan) Vasquez of Wellington, Colorado, Donna (Mark) Heskett of Burlington, Colorado and Fred Rodriguez of Burlington, Colorado, Her surviving grandchildren are Stephanie Rodriguez, Erik Rodriguez, Roger Torrez, Danny Torrez, Michelle Jacobs, Katie Vaeth, Joe Vaeth, Alex Rodriguez, D.T. Falk, Calista and Courtney Rodriguez, Nicolas Rodriguez, Soledad Vasquez, Nicole Heskett, Nina Heskett ; Great grand children; Abby Rodriguez, Grace Benton, Olivia Torrez, Lyla Torrez, Kawena Jacobs, Maya Jacobs, and Edward Falk.
