View Video Tribute Longtime Burlington, Colorado resident Peter Anthony “Pete� Strick age 67 passed away on December 25, 2007 at his residence in Burlington. Pete was born in Yuma County to Tony and Josephine (Waller) Strick on December 29, 1939.He was one of nine children. On October 4, 1959, Pete married Dorothy Ann Marshall at the St. Charles Catholic Church in Stratton, Colorado. To this marriage, three children were born; Cindy, Rich, and Letha. In 1967, Pete started working for Hinkhouse family, and retired on April 2, 2005. He was a member of the St. Catherine’s Catholic Church and was very active in the Knights of Columbus. Preceding Pete in death were his parents, his wife Dorothy Ann on July 5, 2003 and one brother, Arthur. Pete is survived by his daughter Cindy Crouse and her husband Brent of Bethune, Colorado, his son Rich Strick and his wife Barb of Fort Collins, Colorado and his daughter Letha Wentz of Kanorado, Kansas. He is also survived by six grandchildren; Stephanie Unruh, Bobby and Cory Crouse, and Kenzie, Taylor, and Jordan Wentz, and one great grandson Damion Crouse, seven sisters; Elizabeth Weingardt of Kirk, Colorado, Rose Smith of Salt Lake City, Utah, Dorothy Carmack of Stratton, Colorado, Mildred Schrock of Wichita, Kansas, Margaret Carlton of Wichita, Kansas, Mary Liming and her husband Allen of Kirk, Colorado, Jeanette King and her husband Red of Burlington, Colorado and one brother Jim Strick and his wife Maxine of Kirk, Colorado Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, December 31, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the St. Catherine’s Catholic Church with Father Ernie Bond officiating. Burial followed at the Fairview Cemetery, Burlington, Colorado. Memorials may be made in Pete’s name and may be left at the Bank of Burlington, Burlington, Colorado.
