Ralph Litts Jury of Limon, CO passed away at the age of 83 years, 11 months.
Ralph was born on September 5, 1921 in Lakin, KS to Oren and Helen (Litts) Jury one of four children. He attended school through the 10th grade in Kendall, KS.
Ralph married Ona Louella Wright on December 6, 1941 in Syracuse, KS. Eight months later, in August of 1942, Ralph entered the service during World War II. He served his country for three years returning to Kendall, KS to farm then moved to a farm south of Hugo, CO in 1949. Ralph farmed there until 1953 moving to the present farm south of Limon, CO until time of death. He was happiest farming and working on machinery. Ralph was a sportsman, businessman, loved firearms and collecting coins. He was a pilot and loved to fly.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ona Luella, one brother; Oren Jury and one step-sister; Verna Kavenaugh.
He is survived by his children Ralph Jury of Estancia, NM, Theresa (Don) Wacker of Kersey, CO, Michael (Shirley) Jury of Lakin, KS, Patricia (Tom) Gill of Roanoke, AL, Richard (patsy) Jury of Strasburg one brother; John Jury of Pratt, KS one sister; Helen of Tulsa, OK, thirteen grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Graveside services were held for Ralph, Saturday, August, 27, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at the Pershing Memorial Cemetery in Limon, CO.
