Ramon Shaffer

View Video Tributes Ramon Shaffer, age 93, passed peacefully into Gods hands and into his wife Naidas’ arms on Monday, May 14, 2007. Ramon lived his entire life as a rancher in Cope, Colorado. His life changed when he left his home in 2003 and went to live in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he could live with assistance. He missed his home and friends, everyday during those 4 years. He is survived by his son Ronald Shaffer, Wife Lucille of Colorado Springs, a daughter Shirley Reese, husband Richard of Kansas City, Missouri, Six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. We will all look back on the days when we were together. Services for Ramon were held 11:00 a.m. Friday May 18th at the Cope Community Church in Cope, Colorado. Memorials may be left to the Cope Community Church, Recreation Center, Cemetery or Pikes Peak Hospice of Colorado Springs.
