Ray Lowery

Biography Ray E. Lowery, age 77 of Bethune, Colorado, died July 24th at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado. He was born on September 26, 1936 to the late Raymond and Irene Lowery. Ray grew up in LaVale, Maryland. He served in the Air Force in the 50’s before settling down in Laurel, Maryland. He worked for Frito Lay and then was an independent truck driver. His hobbies were stock car races and horses. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Jack Lowery, sisters, Dorothy Lowery Diehl and Betty Lowery May. Ray is survived by his wife, Marilyn Fowler Lowery of Bethune, son Daniel Ray Lowery of Jessup, Maryland. Brothers, Paul Lowery, Bob Lowery and wife Lynda, sisters, E. Louise Elliott, Carol Jenkins and Joan Wilson and husband Kenny all of Cumberland, Maryland. Also a brother-in-law, Morris Fowler of Bethune, Colorado. Ray’s wishes were to be cremated with no services be held at this time.
