Raymond Carlson

Raymond Anton Eric Carlson was a long time resident of Lakewood, Colorado. He died in his home on December 24, 2015 at the age of 77. Ray graduated from Genoa High School in 1956 and briefly attended C.S.U. He then served in the army and was stationed at Fort McArthur in Van Nuys, California. Later he met and was married to Sheila Stumph for five year. After 30 years, her retired from the geological survey in Lakewood. In Ray’s earlier years, he loved snow skiing, water skiing and playing golf with his friends. He was also a 50 year active member of the Lakewood Elks Club. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Eric and Evelyn Carlson. He leaves behind one sister, Yvonne Sweeney of Strasburg, Colorado and and one nephew Matt Sweeney and wife Kelly of Strasburg, Colorado as well as numerous cousins.
