Rita M. Feddern, 91, of Limon, Colorado, passed away May 7, 2010 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
She was born September 4, 1918 in Simla, CO, daughter of Angus Mac Lennan and Maud T. Roach. She grew up in the Simla area graduating in 1936 from Simla High School.
Rita married Mike Feddern on July 2, 1942 in Calhan, Colorado. To this union one daughter was born.
Rita worked as an Office and Credit Manager for Spaid Motors and Tucker Chevrolet-Buick-Pontiac where she had a perfect bookkeeping record with General Motors. She received several awards from General Motors for her many years of dedicated service.
She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. She served as a Lector and volunteered in the Churchs prison ministry. Ritas true love was music, she was first in state violin and could play any piano piece by ear. Rita and husband Mike where very active in the community sponsoring the Rita & Mike Feddern Scholarship, serving as a
4-H Foundation Officer and as a 4-H Horse Leader.
Rita is survived by daughter Cheryl and husband Larry Nelson of Versailles, KY. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
