Robert Lee Fox passed away at his home in Vona, Colorado, on September 2, 2013. He was 80 years old.
Bob was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on November 23, 1932. His parents were Ralph and Sylvia (Benoit) Fox. Bob was raised with his six brothers on a farm near Stratton. He attended and graduated from Stratton High School.
He joined the Marines right out of High School and retired after 20 years of service.
In 1955 Bob married Phyllis Levin of Seibert. Together they raised two children: Larry Lee and Laura Lyn. Bob and Phyllis later divorced.
On May 22, 1982, he married Donna Masters (Jones) and adopted her two daughters: Angela Marie and Tonya Dee.
Bob worked for the Kit Carson County Road and Bridge crew and retired after 34 years.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and three of his brothers: Chuck, Jerry and Harry.
Bob is survived by his wife of 31 years, Donna; his son, Larry; his daughters, Laura, Angela and Tonya; his grandchildren, Luke, Ashlee, Bobbie Jo, Beth Ann, LaDonna, Melinda (Mindy), Sierra, Jose (Joe), and Anthony and one great granddaughter, Nayelianna. Also surviving are his brothers, Jerome, Darrell, and John, as well as many other relatives and friends.
A graveside service, with burial of ashes will be held at a later date.
