Rodney Schroeder

Rodney Schroeder, 69, formerly of Hugo, Colorado passed away on October 30, 2017 in North Platte, Nebraska. Rod was born on November 1, 1947 in Colby, Kansas to Rex C. and DesMoines (Stickel) Schroeder. He grew up in Oberlin, Kansas attending and graduating from Decatur Community High School. He enjoyed his children and grandchildren. He loved life and enjoyed spending time with loved ones, from fishing trips to family adventures Rod was happiest when he had his family and friends at his side. Rod worked for the Telephone Company as a Combination Man until he retired in 2009. After retirement he enjoyed traveling, riding his motorcycle, fishing, and golfing. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Anthony Schroeder. Rodney is survived by his son Roddie (Khristia) Webb of Salem Missouri, daughter Christine (Gene) O'Dell of Springfield Missouri, and daughter Kimberly Schroeder of Johnstown Colorado. Grandchildren Johnathon, Zachary, Dillon, Gibson, Merik, Jazlyn, and Cadence. Brother Bob (Alice) Stanley; Sisters Darlene (Michael) Johnson, Sherry (Bill) Arnott, and Judy Fritz. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and his former spouse Gwen Schroeder.
