Roger L. Clark

Former Burlington, CO resident, Roger, Lee Clark, 81, passed away, August 13, 2023 at Topside Manor, Goodland, Kansas. Roger was born in Sparks, Nevada on May 7, 1942 to Leroy and Mabel Clark. He was the third of five children. He grew up on the family farm, Norton, Kansas, moving to Burlington in 1958. After graduating high school, May 1960, Roger joined the Navy, and had active duty for four years. Returning to Burlington after the Navy, Roger worked at Save-U-Super’s and later at Burlington Foods. Some of his past time included playing his electric guitar. Roger was married to Peggy Matthies and to this union three children were born. Sondra, Jim and Tonya. They later divorced, and Roger married Catherine Brown, Roger was preceded in death by his parents and two older twin brothers,  Marvin and Marion, and his wife, Catherine. Left to celebrate his life and passing  are his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Also, his two sisters, two aunts, and numerous cousins. Burial was in the Burlington Cemetery next to his loving wife Catherine.
