Ruth Neely

Burlington, Colorado resident, Ruth Louise Neely passed away on October 2, 2012 at the Kit Carson County Memorial Hospital in Burlington. She was 66 years old. Ruth was born to Clyde and Beatrice (Snyder) Etzler on August 12, 1946 in Canon City, Colorado. She was one of six children born to this union. Ruth attended Nucla High School and graduated in 1967. She met and later married Myrl James Neely on June 12, 1970 in Montrose, Colorado. To this union two children were born; Tammy and Kevin. She enjoyed helping Tammy run her daycare center, she loved all children, spending time and having coffee with family and friends. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and decorating cakes for them. Ruth also liked spending time on the computer. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers; Joe and Charles Etzler. Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Myrl Neely of Burlington, her two children, Tammy Brisendine and her children, Destanee, Damian and Raiden all of Burlington and Kevin Neely of Denver, Colorado and, two brothers, Leroy Etzler and his wife Cherokee of Grand Junction, Colorado, Frank Etzler of Burlington and one sister Judy Wagler of Grand Junction, Colorado.
