Tom Wall

View Video Tribute Thomas Frank Wall, age 96, of Deer Trail, CO died January 17, 2007 at Lincoln Community Hospital and Nursing Home in Hugo, CO. He was born February 16, 1910 to Walter and Laura (Bender) Wall in Denver, CO. At the age of four years the family moved to Deer Trail, CO. Tom ranched and farmed the Wall Homestead which expanded into a sizable property. His love and pride from the animals especially horses he raised was well known to the family and friends. Tom married Helen E. Norris on February 8, 1945 in Hugo, CO. Tom and Earlene always had a great love for the National Western Stock Show and for many years family and friends attended as their guests. It made it very difficult this year when the call came that Tom had passed away as we sat enjoying the show. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, wife Earlene, brother; Ted Wall and sister; Catherine Woodard. Tom is survived by his sisters; Lucy Rouse of Fort Collins, CO, and Helen Barta of Carbondale, CO, niece Arlene Monnahan and husband John of Deer Trail, CO as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. at the Love Funeral Home Chapel in Limon, CO with interment following at Evergreen Cemetery in Deer Trail, CO. Visitation will be held Friday January 26, 2007 from 1-4 P.M. at the Love Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Deer Trail Ambulance Fund P.O. Box 295, Deer Trail, CO 80105.
