Virginia Walkinshaw

Virginia A. Walkinshaw, 65, of Arriba, CO passed away on September 21, 2009. Virginia was born on March 27, 1944 in Lamar, CO to S.W. Wieman and Elizabeth Bell one of four children. She graduated from Granada High School in 1962. Virginia married Tom Walkinshaw on May 14, 1971 in Loveland, CO and the couple was blessed with three sons. The couple moved to Arriba, CO in 2005. Virginia was a loving wife and mother devoting her time and talents to her family. She especially loved being a grandmother spending time with her four grandchildren, gardening and raising beautiful flowers for the community to enjoy. Virginia was also very instrumental in the remodeling of the couples home. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and brothers; Don Wieman and Darrle Wieman. She is survived by her husband Tom Walkinshaw of Arriba, CO and their sons; Justin and his son Alex Walkinshaw of Simla, CO, Mitch and wife Jeena Walkinshaw and son Cody of Lakin, KS, Mike and Megan Walkinshaw and son Colt of Plymouth, UT. Virginia is also survived by her brothers; Terry Wieman of Colorado Springs, CO and Larry and his wife Leslie Wieman of Simla, CO. Virginia will be missed by her family and friends. A memorial service for Virginia A. Walkinshaw will be held 1:00pm Saturday September 26, 2009 at the Love Funeral Home Limon, Colorado. Memorial may be left to donor's choice.
