View Video Tribute Wanda Jo Roberts, age 66, of Limon, Colorado passed away August 11, 2009 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Wanda was born September 24, 1942 in Kansas City, MO to Joseph H. and Aileene (Blackwell) Eastland. She graduated from Turner High School in Turner, Kansas in 1960. Following high school, Wanda attended Chemeketa Community College in Salem, OR. In 1998, Wanda obtained her BA in nursing from Regis University. Wanda married John Roberts on April 4, 1987 in Wrexham North Wales United Kingdom. Wanda was a member of the Life In Christ Church in Limon, CO. She loved going to garage sales and was very involved in her children and grandchildren’s lives. She enjoyed attending their numerous school and extracurricular activities. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents. Wanda is survived by her husband John Roberts of Limon, CO, children Rhett and wife Rebecca Beattie and their children Emily and Paul of Visalia, CA, Norma and her husband Jim Adams and their children Anne, and Justin of Larkspur, CO, and Catherine Roberts and her children Isaac, Zachary, Shyla all of Limon, CO. Also surviving is Wanda’s brother, William Eastland of Kansas City, KS. A funeral service for Wanda Jo Roberts will be held Friday ~ August 14, 2009 ~ 2:00 P.M. at the Love Funeral Home ~ Limon, Colorado. Visitation will be held Friday ~ August 14, 2009 One Hour Prior To Service at the Love Funeral Home Limon, Colorado.
