Wilma Shroyer

Wilma Dean Shroyer, age 84, of Karval, Colorado passed away on April 24, 2008 in Hugo, CO. Wilma was born April 15, 1924 in Karval, Colorado to James Hanley and Callie Lucinda (Mallory) Webb. She was one of seven children. Wilma attended school in Karval, graduating in 1942. Wilma married Kenneth Shroyer on December 20, 1942 in Raton, New Mexico. To this union two children were born, Deb and Jack. Wilma was employed by the Karval School District were she was a cook for thirty years. Her hobbies included sewing and crocheting, and she was a past member of the Karval Friendship Circle. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth and brothers Eddie, Ernest, Charles, Glendell, James Kay and Jack. She is survived by her son Jack (Annalee) Shroyer of Pueblo West, CO; daughter Deb (Dean) French of Colorado Springs, CO and their children Joshua (Caroline) French of Jacksonville, Fl, Shannon French of Tequesta, Fl, Jamie French of Denver, CO and , Callie French of Lakewood, CO ; sisters-in-law Alice Webb of Karval, CO, Miriam Webb of Denver, CO, Pearl Webb of Karval, CO and Thelma Hobson of Hugo, CO. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday ~ April 29, 2008 ~ 11:00 A.M.~ Bucklin Cemetery ~ Karval, CO. Memorials my be made to Alzheimer's Association 4567 East 9th Ave., Denver, CO 80220.
